It's worth it for me for two reasons:
#1. My broker shoulders most of the cost (yes I know that this is part of my split, but other offices have similar splits without giving their agents enhanced listings).
#2. I sold one listing, worth almost $6000 in commission, due to the extra pictures on Realtor.com - I asked the buyers and they said they found it there.
Other than that, I have had a few contacts but nothing has resulted in a sale.
Personally, I think Realtor.com is not as important as the MLS and other online marketing techniques. for me it's been worth it but if my broker or realtor.com changes things to charge me more I won't renew it.
My blog, my own website, zillow.com, craigslist.org, and trulia are probably just as effective, or more so, as realtor.com
Realtor.com will allow 4 pictures now when they release their new version. Still a joke but better than only 1 picture. Make sure your 4 best pictures are the first four on your mls listing.
