WOw. That was really OFF. I hope it ends soon so I can get back to normal RE. I'm finding it harder and harder to keep positive in this market.

End of June 2009 we'll hit the bottom in the housing market - I'll back my bud - JC No one that counts even remotely sees the rampant rise in prices and sales we had the past 5-8 years prior to the pop.

We've had decent luck asking for a price reduction, if the amount was reasonable and we had bids to back it up. We've had zero luck having any work done before closing - doesn't mean it can't happen but a price reduction is more likely.
